Richard Kylberg is the founder of Blink The Design Agency, an international retail design studio based in Stockholm, Sweden. With more than 20 years of experience in retail concept development, he has helped brands transform business strategies into engaging customer experiences across Europe and international markets. Through his work with Blink, Richard has helped shape retail concepts and customer experiences for leading international brands across grocery, specialty retail and hospitality.

He is widely recognized as an international expert in retail concept development and customer experience design. Richard specializes in retail concept development, customer experience design and spatial brand strategy, creating stores that encourage exploration, increase dwell time and strengthen brand loyalty. Through Blink, he has served as concept lead and strategic design partner for major international brands including Tesco, Albert Heijn, ICA, SAS and Netflix, developing concepts that combine retail strategy with immersive customer experience.

He is frequently invited as a guest lecturer at international design schools including the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and has served as a jury member for the international FRAME Awards. Richard believes in design as commercial magic — where strategy, storytelling and spatial design combine to create retail environments people want to explore, return to and spend time in.
